A Nice Sunday!

I think. Or something close to that :-D

Today started out like any other day. Kinda blah, too.
Then I decided to go to a movie.
It is called "TRAITOR" and it is an independent movie. It is really nice. It takes it's time to build the story and the characters :) Also there were explosions :) It had great actors like Don Cheadle and Guy Pearce! It had no nudity or horrific violence, so that was nice.
Movies like to cheat and put in nudity (mostly female) to replace any kind of creative thought or good writing. Sometimes it can be used for good effect, like comedy or shock or drama or whatever, but there are other ways to do that.
I saw it at 1:45, and it was a nice length, finally! Why are movies so stupidly short now-a-days? This was nearly 2 hours, but it didn't feel that long, because of the pacing.

When I got home, a message was on my machine. I thought, "Oh goody, maybe it's Jozie!" I was at first disappointed that it wasn't her. Until I found out who it WAS from! It was this girl I had contacted a long time ago, and have been in contact with sparsely since. I took a chance and trusted her with my phone number, because before I contacted her the first time online (yes, she lives here) I used my "Issues" and "pinged" her, and she seemed OK. I used my "issues" after I was given a feeling of OK from outside myself :)
Well, long story short, she agreed to meet me! We met at a local festival called "Santa-Cali-Gon Days". That is for Santa Fe, California, and Oregon Trails that started from Independence MO. I met her at the park and ride. She's neat! We walked and talked and looked around. She bought something, and then we both bought home made root beers. =) We walked in the sun, and in the crowd. Neither bothered me! I felt OK with her, good energy, giving and also neutral energy, not taking or aggressive at all. Very nice.
Sometime we are going to have breakfast together. She seems like a great friend, who knows if there's more? She is with somebody right now. But, I'm OK with having her as a friend!
I'm glad she took a chance on me. I'm glad I took a chance on her.
