Made it to work on time, despite traffic and leaving late.
No problems on the road.
It was OK that I didn't finish my work up yesterday.
I got a smile and a greeting from Amber in the morning that was gentle and warm like the sun, so that was very pleasant.
This nice lady made a motion with open arms and I took it as an opportunity for a hug. I hope that she felt better.
I saw Robyn Eastland my boss and again she heaped me with praise in front of other people.
Did I tell you she did so in front of our new administrator, too? That was nice times 10! ^^
Today was my day to go down to laundry. We have a new head of "personals" down there name of Regina. It's been a long time since she's worked here (5 years?) but when she did she worked here for 3 years.
She is an answer to a prayer I think! I prayed for a strong good person to get that area back under control, and here she is!
She is bi-polar. She is having some self-issues .. you know, not seeing herself as she really is but defining herself by others reactions to her. Like her husband, who's still in Florida, but she's glad to be away from him. Now granted ... bi-polar people and the like CAN put too much pressure blame on others (heck, even others can do that :p), but it seems to me that she is too much in a negative "I'm so stupid" self-blame place. If she can have room to breathe, and to see more of the landscape within and outside, she can see the truth. I tried to subtly help her with that today.
She is not one I'd date for many reasons, but that doesn't mean I can't try to help her to help herself ^^
Tonight was the 2nd class for Mindfulness thingy. It was nice.
And the night ended with icecream and talking to Kit-Kate! So, it was a GREAT day! ^_^
