alarm clock TimeShift

yesterday morning I was awoken in the morning. I am not sure what woke me up, but I woke up to the sounds of my upstairs neighbor's feet on the ceiling.
So, annoyed, I opened my eyes from my sleep and turned over to look at my alarm clock. It said 7:17 am
7:17! eep, I have to get to work, I'm going to be late! See, my alarm goes off at 6 am and I try to leave the house no sooner than 7:09 and no later than 7:12.
Here's the thing. I didn't sleep through my alarm ... the alarm wasn't on!
This then, is the mystery. This is the evidence of a TimeShift.
Because I've trained myself to notice things that are different. So, with the alarm clock, as I was getting into bed, I automatically got a quick glimpse of the clock. I didn't notice anything wrong.
My clock is a digital clock with red numbers. On the far left side, there are 2 LED lights also red, one on top of the other like a colon :
One dot means it is PM
the other means the alarm is ON
I didn't notice anything amiss on my quick glance, so I can only assume I saw both dots as I expected to.
The switch to turn off the alarm is on the left side and is facing away from me at the time. Because I have it turned at an angle so I can see the numbers, and so that is why it is turned so the left side is away from me. The switch has three positions. closest to me is RADIO ON but ALARM OFF, middle is RADIO AND ALARM OFF, and furthest away is ALARM ON ready to go off at the set time. It takes some deliberate effort to to move it. It does not move if my cover or pillow would be able to hit it even at an odd angle. My lamp would also be in the way of that.
The electricity didn't turn off the alarm because the power has gone off before and not affected the alarm. I have a battery back up, you see. Besides, the clock read the correct time and showed no signs of having had a power failure or any other kind of mechanical problem.

So, I've narrowed it down to three possibilities:

1) I am mistaken. I didn't look properly enough at the clock, and the alarm was off when I went to bed the night before. But, that still doesn't answer why it was off. I am quite used to my work schedule so by habit I would have no reason to turn it off until as late as Friday night because I work the weekdays only. No, I'm fairly certain I saw both dots, but maybe I didn't.

2) Somehow I managed to turn off the alarm in the middle of the night. We are able to do any number of things in the middle of the night and not be fully aware of them. So, this is a possibility. I just can't find any kind of evidence for this, but there is not enough evidence against it to completely dismiss it out of hand. Still, as far as I could tell, the alarm clock didn't look moved in any way, which I would consider I would need to do to better move the switch. For one thing, the side with the switch is snug next to the base of the lamp. I would have had to move it away from the lamp, move the switch, then move the clock back next to the lamp. That is a lot of deliberate and careful moves for someoen that is asleep! In addition, the switch is in the middle. It takes dexterity to make sure it moves from the position furthest away and have ti stop in the middle instead of all the way to the closet position. As a reminder, the farthest position is alarm set, middle is off, closest is radio on.
Therefore, if I did move it in my sleep, that is incredible in itself, because it would have taken a lot of very specific effort and care.

3) No, I believe the best possibility is this one: a TimeShift occurred which included my alarm clock not being set. It's an odd one, though. Because I know this whole week has been leading to that night, and that night was Thursday, and I knew the next morning was Friday morning and I had one more work day. So the instance of my alarm being in the middle OFF position would only occur in 2 out of 7 nights, Friday night and Saturday night.

My clock radio is a Curtis CR1274

Here is some additional tangential information. Well, for one thing, I managed to get to work on time! I don't know how. I did speed, but I didn't think it was going to be enough. I thought at best I'd be at the time clock around 4 past 8. It turned out it was 6 before! So, I wonder if I created a RealityShift so that I could get to work on time. I was thinking about it whilst in the car driving there, so that is a possibility. But I still arrived in the parking lot at a time that I've timed my walk before and I can't see how I could have been 6 minutes early. Time must have slowed down and pretty much also went backwards a few minutes! But, I'm just not convinced of this enough.

I was awoken by my neighbors the night before. He was arguing with her. And I can hear their footsteps. So, I think I was triggered to be aware of the footsteps and that is why they woke me up the next morning, Friday morning.

Also, I was talking to a co-worker and he said the meeting with his friends (that I was invited to) was now suddenly up in the air. The couple who's house we met at .... well, they moved out of that one. I was there last Friday, and not mention of moving came up. They are a couple with a baby living in their parent's apartment. I suppose they could have moved because of something sudden like a bad argument or feeling cramped, but still. You think one of us would have heard something BEFORE the next Friday night when we met. And they meet every Friday night, so it's not a new routine. How could none of the rest of them be aware that they moved until they called an hour or so before the meeting was to occur! Personally, I think that is more evidence of a TimeShift!

What do you think?
Did anything odd happen to you Thursday night to Friday night?
