Moviezzz ~ After Dark Features

I saw two horror movies back to back tonight.

The first one had some interesting things in it.
It is called "From Within"
What is good, what is evil?
What is light, what is darkness?
What is right, what is wrong?

good can do bad and bad can do good
the light is in the dark and the dark is in the light
do the right thing for the wrong reasons and the wrong thing for the right reasons

I really like the music. So many movies, so many horror movies with music, and yet the musical moments in this film worked and seemed fresh.
How old were these people supposed to be?
I liked the acting each person was in their character.
I liked the little moments, the beginning and ending montage.

The second movie was The Butterfly Effect 3: Revelations.
I saw 1, but not 2, so I am going to have to watch that some time.
It was good, had some interesting things in it, but ... I'll give it a 1/2.

Of the two I liked "from within" more.
Lots of neat stuff in it that I can't talk about or I'll spoil the movie.

P.S.
I forgot to mention one other important matter: nudity in these movies.
Another reason I preferred "from within" over the other is because be3 had nudity and fw did not. fw had plenty of chances to have nudity, but it chose the higher road and did not. why horror movies in particular feel like just because they have license to do violence they also have it to do nudity/sexual situations as well is beyond me.
I was really put off by the totally unnecessary and exploitative method of nudity/sex in be3!
SAG (Screen Actors Guild) should really do it's job and stand up for females and do something about this, it's gotten way out of hand! Why won't they do anything? They think it's "censorship" or that the ratings system saves them, or the audience wants it?
bah, it's so stupid!
